We are currently calling for nominations for the Founders Award. The Founders' Award is presented to individuals who have made an extraordinary volunteer contribution to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Calgary and Area.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area holds many events to celebrate the passion, dedication and enthusiasm of their volunteers and mentors.

It goes without saying that we had a blast at "Big Blast" over the years, however, the time has come for us to bid it adieu.


For 100 years, the volunteers from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada have helped children across the country reach their potential by being positive role models and encouraging personal development. Canada Post recognized this milestone by issuing a commemorative stamp honouring the achievements of the mentoring organization.


Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area's office moved on February 1. Not to worry, we only moved across the street.

All activities are FREE with LUNCH and SNACKS provided. Transportation is also provided to and from each event.
