Everyday, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area stimulates young people, empowering them to pursue their dreams. By matching Calgary's young people in one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring adults, we are helping Calgary's youth to reach their full potential.

How can I get involved?
There are many ways you can make a difference in a young person's life. By volunteering your time as little as one hour a week, you can change a young person's life forever. You can also support our programs by making a financial contribution. All of the money raised locally supports youth in our community - giving them roots to grow and wings to fly.

Research has shown that youth from challenging backgrounds can develop to their fullest potential, become successful and flourish, simply by spending quality time with a caring adult.

Early intervention is the key to success.

We know that the earlier you can help a young person in need - the better the outcome. The youth in our programs are between the ages of six and 18 and would benefit from a positive, caring adult friendship.
